Do It Yourself Diy : What Is The Best Product To Use Around A Stove Pipe To Seal It
I am installing a wood stove pipe thru a SOLID block concrete wall (Has nothing else combustible inside wall) in my garage and need a product that is a hi-temp flexible sealant to seal around the stove pipe. Would furnace cement be a good option or does it get hard when dried? What about some other type of fire barrier? Do It Yourself Diy : How Can I Make A Replacment Window In A Brick Frame Look Nice
I have a brick house and am replacing the windows. I installed the windows and they are a pretty good fit, but as a side effect of a replacement window, I've got gaps on the sides. I caulked the gaps, but I would like to know if I can put some kind of a trim around the frame hiding the caulked gaps. I've googled around and have come across "brick molding", but I can't really find any pictures to know if this is what I need. Does anybody have any suggestions what I should do. Do It Yourself Diy : How Do I Fill The Gap Between The Shower Doors And The Tiled Wall
I'm currently installing a shower door which is an entrance (and 4th side) to a 3-walled (with tiles) shower. The problem is I have a gap of about 1 inch () to fill in total between the tiles and the side of the door. Wood would be easiest but is no good as it would get wet. I could put another layer of tiles along each side where the wall would touch the door which would almost exactly fill the gap but not sure it's the best idea. Can't imagine I'm the first person to face this problem though so any help from someone who has successfully sorted this rather than guesses would be great. Thanks. ~~~ NB99 ~~~
