i just had an amp installed for my interior speaker and now my left rear speaker is quieter than the rest. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thats false i highly doubt that it is the speaker... It probablly has something to do with the rca have who ever installed it look at it and they can do a test to see if its blown...

How much quieter? Do you mean like not playing at all or just not as loud. Switch speaker outputs on the amp (left right) to rule out the speaker. If the other side does it when you switch it, then the problem is upstream. Before you do that make sure that the balance on the head unit is set to center.
If you have a 4 channel amp make sure they don't have it hooked up on the rear as usually the fronts are set louder and the rears are lower to be used as an surround type setup
