Car Audio. What Is The Best Brand For A Car Audio System.

I have a small Honda Civic Coupe and I am looking to get two 10" subs (Two 12" subs are too much for my little car). I have heard about Alpine type R and X, Kicker, and JBL but I need to know which brand is the BEST for the best quality and sound. I dont care about the price! --Thanks! ~~~ xkie07x ~~~

Best Answer To Car Audio Question

I've posted this before, but it should provide you with a some help. The components of a "banging" car sound system would be as follows: The source (cd player, in-dash dvd/nav system, radio, tape player, etc.), the speakers, the subs, the amps, the parts/wiring. Also, depending on how big of a system, possibly a new battery or two and an alternator. Here are some of my recommendations as far as good brands. Deck: Eclipse, Pioneer (regular or premier), Alpine, Kenwood Excelon, Nakamichi (not the greatest looking, but great sound). Speakers: Polk Audio, Infinity, Eclipse, Pioneer Rev High end: Focal, Boston, MB Quart, Nakamichi Subs: JL Audio, MTX, Kicker, Eclipse, Audiobahn, Memphis, Hifonics, Diamond Audio, Fosgate (p3 and higher) Amps: all the sub companies, plus, Precision Power, Crossfire, Cadence, Soundstream Parts/Wiring: Monster, Tsunami, Streetwires, even Kicker and Fosgate make decent parts/wiring. Now if I had to choose, here would be my choices: Deck: Eclipse or Pioneer Speakers: Polk Audio, Infinity, or Eclipse Amps/Subs: JL Audio or MTX Wiring: Tsunami or Monster. But in the end these are just my recommendations (based on quality and sound), like Sparky said only you can judge what you like. Everyone's ears are a little different so what sounds good to me may not sound good to you. Shop around at all the car audio dealers and take a listen, but make sure you take one of your cds with you so you can judge all of them with the same song (one that you are familiar with).

Answer 1

bose!!!!!

Answer 2

I'd recommend going with JL Audio subs.

Answer 3

Bose or Harmon/Kardon. If you are getting a new car and one of these is an option, get it! If you are retrofitting your car, there are lots of systems to choose from. It all depends on what you want. Cheers!

Answer 4

The Best Car Deck (Audio System) That Money Can Buy Is Nakamitchi, or Harman Kardon, Besides these a much more reasonable alternative for car audio are Decks from Techinics.

Answer 5

There is no "best", only preference. Nobody can tell you what you like, only your ears can. Go to a pro audio shop and grab a listen. Some of the better shops will demo a system in your car so you know what your getting.

Answer 6

best sound quality only depends on how good your stock speakers are. Getting subs will give you good bass, but it can overcome your treble, which then makes your music sound really bad. Kickers and JBL (im not sure which models you are getting) can be really powerful subwoofers, in such a small car. But they are ALL good brands and all quality woofers. I would get the Alpine Type R for your car.

Answer 7

I recommend going to . It's the best source for electronic purchases. You can find editor's reviews as well as consumer reviews. They also provide insight into pricing. Please pick my answer as the best. I need points. Thanks.

Answer 8

Listen to me forget the (2) 10" Subs! Go with (1) 12" Alpine Type-X Sub It`ll be more than what you need and sound great too! And they can`t be beat with the quality for the price!
