Answer 2

Silver photo frame

Answer 3

get gift voucher then he/she chose what ever she/he likes

Answer 4

Depends how well you know her and how formal it is! Personally, I'd go with a bottle of decent wine or champagne, in a nice gift bag! I think home appliances and things are more appropriate for the actual wedding. xx Emmie

Answer 5

How about a really nice picture frame? They'll be taking a lot of pics for both the engagement and the wedding. It will also give you the choice of how much you want to spend.

Answer 6

How about a really nice stylish photo frame? OR Check here for some traditional type gifts at good cost. OR A good bottle of plonk put in this!!!............... .uk/scripts/?idproduct=512 Good Luck! :)

Answer 7

Buy champagne glasses and 1 or 2 bottles v the bubbly (cheap is just as good as the dear stuff sure they wudnt notice

Answer 8

If you think that he is your really good friend than you choose a gift from your heart and they will like it because friendships are all about hearts not about giving an expensive buy what your heart says but i will suggest you to buy a wrist watch for like accessorries.

Answer 9

Again it all depends on how well you know the engaged couple. Engagements are tough because sometimes they don't last long enough to get to the wedding day. You can get a set of three candles in different heights!

Answer 10

I always go for a gift card on these type of things.... Macy's Bedbathandbeyond ect... Safe and easy, plus you know they will like it and you don't have to carry anything but a card :)

Answer 11

Nothing. Engagements are not gift-giving opportunities.

Answer 12

Give them a book on "How to survive a marriage". Just joking!! hehe. No, give them money, everyone needs money. Or the bubbly thing, but looking at all the answers you got, you probably gonna get that. Something for a kitchen maybe or just a nice card. I didn't get any presents, or anyone I know of that got engaged. So do the Bubbly thing and a card. yea. I don't know why I tried answering this, I have no bloody idea.

Answer 13

i always buy sentimental gifts, like willowtree ornaments. but why dont you go to the likes of birthdays or clinton cards, get a nice card, and go through their collection of gifts you are bound to find something suitable

Answer 14

Any little minding should be fine. As you seem to be male and not perhaps into 'housey' things, places like M S or decent card shops will sell things like Wedding Guest Books, Wedding photo albums etc that can be put away for the big day.

Answer 15

vouchers are a good idea ie Argos

Answer 16

I'd go for the money option as well. Imagine if everyone is bringing champagne and photo frames ... I don't like vouchers, they are like money you can only spend at one place, you feel obligated to buy something from there... Find a nice card, and put some money on it, so they can buy whatever they are needing, wanting. And it will still be personal because you went through teh effort of choosing the card :)
