Where exactly should you wear it? Should it be on both the coat/jacket and the shirt/suit underneath? When do you start wearing it and when do you take it off? Should you keep it after you take it off for the year? ~~~ bill w 6 weeks to hockey 【ツ】 ~~~

No real rules , one poppy is enough , move it from jacket to shirt and back again as you put them on or remove them if you wish, but the main purpose of the poppy is to remind yourself of the soldiers who died , not to show everyone else that you have a poppy. I only wear mine on the 11th Nov, but some people start wearing them several days before then. I don't recall seeing anyone wearing one after the 11th but no doubt some people do. I have been known to keep my poppy til the following year and I know of others who also do so , it is not something I would tell everyone about but as I said earlier remembering the soldiers who died (as one in my family did) is more important than buying a new poppy each year or making sure that everyone sees your poppy.
