Sorry...morphine is quite addictive and, if improperly used, can kill you.. It gives a sensation of auphoria, gives you red cheeks, (irt favours the release of histamine from mast cells) and sometimes itching with the first doses, small (constricted ) pupils, and constipation, as well as heaviness, together with a feeling of very uncomfortable drowsiness (not at all pleasant according to the patients receiving the drug).. in which you seem to sleep however you can hear all what is happening around you....after 4 to 5 times of receiving 10 miligrams of morphine, three times a day, (average dose agaist pain), you will need twice as much in order to achieve the same effect, (tolerance), then it causes respiratory depression (less breathings per minute with retention of carbon dyoxide), and some anxiety, when you are off the drug,,,that closes the vicious circle, and there you go again, to get more in order to feel euphoric, needing 3-4 times the average dose, ,,,amd developing a full blown addiction....(The inmediate danger, is death by respiratory failure)...... By the way, lets make this clear.. You should cite that in your paper, that word as an example of "euphemism"...Drug addiction, is drug addiction.... There is Nothing recreational about it,,,the word only tries to mask the fact, that its a VICE and improper use of a substance... PS: I have never used morphine myself, only on selected patients that really needed it, for medical not "recreational" purposes,,,

Answer 1Sorry, I cant help. I came to answer this question in a mocking fashion. I was thinking along the lines off "It feels like you should get a life". However, seeing as your niether endorsing it or taking it yourself, I am not making that statement. I am surprised you haven't got any answers, most people are only too happy to show off about the illegal drugs they take. Ashley
