I am planning to go to an opticians for an eye love wearing spectacles esp. the ones for short look small and want to know if the optician can really find out that my eye sight is not bad at all for can I pretend I cannot read the chart and act as I have real bad eyes and get a pair of he find out that I am just accomodating?Pls give ur valuable suggestions. ~~~ Cara J ~~~

You shouldn't wear RX glasses just b/c they look cute. It can ruin your vision and give you horrible headaches. What you should do instead is just wear glasses made from clear glass (no RX). I also love the look of glasses and have perfect eyesight. When I was a kid, I was obsessed with getting glasses...finally my dad got me a glass pair. Anyway, that's what you should do. But really heed my advice on not wearing the prescription and trying to fooling the doctor. It could really mess with your eyesight and give you headaches and cause you diziness. Besides, the glass kind are a lot cheaper and less of a hassle.

Answer 4Yes an optician can tell if you require specs. They do this using a retina scope and or a laser based system. This is an objective, NOT subjective method so you cannot cheat. If you really want to see badly then, no it will not harm your eyes, do so.

Answer 7as others have suggested, the optician will figure you out rather quickly. no amount of "faking" can fool them. they see this all the time among children. dont do it. "faking" adults and teens just irritate the optician/optometrist
Answer 8it's pretty unlikely/impossible that youre able to cheat any eye tests ive tried the opposite once since i didnt want glasses i thought i could fool my optician by pretending that the numbers were clear and crisp,yet ive miserably failed,im quite fascinated though that girls like you with 20/20 vision loves wearing glasses id say go for it,if your young enough you easily should manage -2D or - and i highly suggest ordering your desired frame +lenses online i strongly recommend / good luck:)
