Go back to the opticians. They will alter them for you free of charge.
All Answers To Optical Questions
Answer 1Get those little "moleskin" pads at the local drug store.
Answer 2either bend the little nose pads inwards, or get a nose job. you could always take them to where you got them, and get them to do it - if they break it isnt your fault!
Answer 3The optician will fit silicone pads which prevent the specs slipping.
Answer 4Go back to the opticians. They will alter them for you free of charge.
Answer 5If they slide down your nose, they need to be tightened up behind your ears. Take them to your optician and they will fit them for you.
Answer 6Just pop into your optitians, they will adjust the arms and nose-pads to help stop your glasses slipping.
Answer 7Blue tac, superglue, sellotape, staples ....sorry just my warped sense of humour. Seriously you need to get the legs adjusted to grip better behind the ears. Let the optician do it as they can heat the legs so they dont break and will ensure perfect fitting.
Answer 8The optician or optometrists' office can adjust the temple and nose pieces. Other than that, you may want to carry a tissue and wipe the oil from your nose several times a day.
Answer 9take them where you got them from... they will be able to push the nose pads together and can bend the arms. I wouldnt try to do this yourself, because as you may know if you are looking through the wrong part of the varifocal lense you wont be able to see! so your optician can help.
Answer 10This is the only thing I don't like about wearing glasses and I know how annoying it is. I agree that any adjustments should be done by the optician but I have often found that they feel fine in the shop and then start to slip again after a few weeks. One lesson that I have learnt over the years is to spend as long as possible choosing the frames and to make sure that you pick a pair which is comfortable (as well as looking good). I've made some bad choices in the past through rushing the decision. When I collected my latest pair, the dispensing optician didn't need to make any adjustments. I've had them for three weeks now and they have remained firmly in position despite a period of hot and sticky weather. They're a semi-rimless style from Specsavers Ultralight range and I think that the light weight might also help
Answer 11Go into an optcitians and ask them to fit them for you. The one I work in has a little heater so that they can heat then bend the plastic to fit you without breaking them. Bending the nose pads probably wont help, they'll just make them uncomfortable
