it means when u kick the soccer ball Ur ankle isn't loose so u have a better kick at the ball .. sometimes not having Ur ankle locked is really bad during the game like u will kick it to the goal and it wont go in cuz ur foot isn't locked and when it is it goes strongly into the goal!! u can practice having it locked by having someone holding the ball in front of u and u having to kick it keeping Ur Ankle stiff

Answer 1it means keep your ankle and foot in one position in the kicking motion. because the ankle and foot don't move, it means that they are "locked" place. think of your leg as a golf club that bends where the shaft is your leg and the actual part that strikes the ball as your ankle and foot. the only catch is that your knee must bend.
Answer 2that mean when you kick a soccer ball your ankles have cannot be loose they cannot be loose because then you would kick the ball in different places. keeping your ankle lock means that you make sure your ankle is steady not loose it helps you gain control
Answer 3it means when u kick the soccer ball Ur ankle isn't loose so u have a better kick at the ball .. sometimes not having Ur ankle locked is really bad during the game like u will kick it to the goal and it wont go in cuz ur foot isn't locked and when it is it goes strongly into the goal!! u can practice having it locked by having someone holding the ball in front of u and u having to kick it keeping Ur Ankle stiff
Answer 4it means to keep ur foot straight. if u shoot like that u get alot more power
Answer 5When you go to swing through the ball you must have your plant foot beside the ball. With your kicking foot you need your toe pointed down towards the ground. In this position you need to stiffen the ankle. You then strike the ball with the laces of your shoe. If you do not stiffen your ankle you will get very little power behind the ball and it will not go very far. also you can have a good chance of injury.
