I am going for a ski trip in Switzerland in anybody know what is important to wear there so that I don't get cold and frost bite?I'm in UK, so if anyone knows where to get the cheap stuff? ~~~ nara_teen185 ~~~

January is not the warmest month for skiing, but if there's sun you'll be quite warm when skiing. I assume you're a beginner so ideally you'll be looking for a 1 piece ski outfit (you'll be spending some time sitting in the snow I think) although it is fashionable now to have a 2 piece (waterproof trousers and anorak). You'll definitely need waterproof gloves or fine gloves inside waterproof mittens, good thick socks and a skihat - any shape size or colour, just make sure you can cover your ears with it if necessary. Warm woolen stockings to wear underneath and a fine vest and roll neck jumper. If you're into snowboarding (a 1 piece is a definite no no - so uncool!). They sell special trousers which are reinforced around the bum, back and knees. Cannot help with the cheapest retailers - I live in Switzerland where it's all pretty expensive. Suggest you look around as soon as possible though as it will be hard to find anything decent within a few weeks. People usually buy very early in the season. Good luck. Have a lovely time.
