Pc : What Reasonably Priced Gaming PC Would You Suggest
My computer is quite old; about 5 years now. I would like to either upgrade it or buy a completely new computer. I've heard that upgrading can cost more than buying a whole new set. I personally use my computer for gaming, so I'd like to get the best graphics and memory possible. I'm a teenager so it would probably take me a few months to save for something between US$1000 - US$1700. More than that and it'll be a year. :S Advice please! ~~~ Annєттє ~~~

I couldn't tell you where the best place to buy one from as i live in the , but i could tell you what to look out for. The Intel Quad Core Q6600 CPU is a great processor and not that expensive now and without doubt offers the best bang for your buck. Its not the best CPU about but its one of the best without the heavy price tag and Its perfect for a gaming rig. As for graphics cards your spoiled for choice these days and personally id go for a Nvidia card something like NVIDIA Ge Force 8800 GT which will play anything out there with no problems. The problem with upgrading is you can only upgrade what your motherboard supports and if you have an old M/B and that needs upgrading then you might as well get a new rig. If you know how to put a together it would be cheaper to build it yourself if you don't then your only option is to buy a shop built one. Start off with the CPU and then how much ram you want, (i use 4 gig ddr2) then whatever is left in your budget buy the best graphics card you can. Good luck
