Best Answer To Skin Conditions Question
The plaster sours with moisture...whether from perspiration or bathing etc...try keeping it as dry as possible...sprinkling powder with corn starch will help keep dry alleviate the bacteria which thrives off the moisture thereby emits the odor...every chance he gets while sitting idle watching TV or resting keep the cast area exposed to flowing air as much as possible too. These little things will at least help maintian the cast keeping dry...as well as when showering/bathing covering it with plastic avoiding as much as possible ANY moisture going beneath it is very important too! It won't be long it will be removed..

Answer 5There is nothing you could do being in a cast as i had the same problem, i would just say put on lots of deodorant on the cast that may help, as i did the same for myself putting deodorant on the cast and it did help me. hope it helps your boyfriend.
Answer 6If his doctor agrees to it, using a basic, simple antibiotic such as tetracycline by mouth can help. Good luck
