I spent about three months and studied daily for my GRE exam. I used materials from a national test prep company and it was worth the bucks (not cheap!). One of the things many of the test prep companies do is provide you with an opportunity to take a practice test so that you can get a better idea of your strengths and weaknesses. By spending this much time, I wound up with good scores.
