Best Answer To Standards Testing Question
Hey, Is the NJ Star Ledger Newspaper educational? Sure. It offers insight and information on local, state, national and even world events and civic issues. Will it boost your critical reading score for the SATs? Not really. Although the paper is average to above-average in its writing, it will not stump the average reader with words and terminology. My AP senior English teacher had us read articels from the New York Times and the New Yorker to help us with words unknown to us and how to read anaytical and critical writing. It's not an easy read, but it does help.

Answer 1Hey, Is the NJ Star Ledger Newspaper educational? Sure. It offers insight and information on local, state, national and even world events and civic issues. Answer 2The Star Ledger is a very underrated newspaper. When I travel to NY I always stay in Newark or out at Newark airport and Im quite familiar with it. So many people dont read any newspapers any more. I worked on the school newpaper staff in high school and can tell you that writers are taught to make stories very concise. Headlines are very important and the meat of the story should be in the first paragraph. Editors can and do often chop off/up articles to meet space requirements. Writers are generally taught not to use big flowerly words that the general public will not understand. Editorial sections are good to read for critical thinking. Look for articles written by professional writers like William Raspberry, Clarence Page, George Will, etc. Will particularly uses a much deeper vocabulary than the average beat writer.
The Golden Book of Proof
Are You Making These Advertising Mistakes? According to copywriter of 8,600 ads and sales letters, Brett McFall, 93.5% of business owners lose money on their advertising. And the figure is even higher when it comes to online campaigns. Mainly due, he says, to the lack of marketing knowledge by the business owner, not the poor performance of the advertising medium.
But it can all be turned around very quickly, says McFall. In fact, one little wording change to an ad can increase response by as much as 3,148%. He's proven it. Which for some business owners could mean thousands of extra dollars that right they are losing out on.
A change to the offer, for instance, can increase response by up to 300%. The Golden Book of Proof has many little techniques for achieving this.
