If you claim you are homeless and it is through no fault of your own and you or a member of your household are in a priority group (. pregnant, dependent children, elderly, disabled, etc) then you need to contact your local Council and they have a duty to find you accommodation. Of course they may decide that you are not homeless or have made yourself homeless intentionally in which case they are unlikely to help.

They are also a charity so they can sign post you wherever you need to go.
