Zoology : How Can I Tell If The Raccoon On My Roof Is A Boy Or A Girl

There's a raccoon living on my roof (don't worry, we're not going to kill it, we're getting people to come in and bring it back to the forest). I'm just curious - is it a boy or a girl? It's more brown than grey, if that helps.
Thanks!
